As a Business Analysis Manager- Quality Assurance in Know Your Customer, you will play a pivotal role in implementing our Quality Assurance initiatives, reporting and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results. You will operate in a matrixed environment supporting multiple executives. Our Quality Assurance operation includes a periodic detective control activitythat provides direct insights into the firm activities' adherence to regulatory (or other external) requirements, internal policies and procedures, as well as the performance of associated controls.

Job responsibilities

  • Leverage deep Anti-Money Laundering (AML) knowledge to develop and build testing scripts for higher-risk clients.

  • Utilize comprehensive understanding of JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPMC) policies to ensure compliance and effectiveness of testing scripts.

  • Proactively identify and dimension AML risk with minimal oversight.

  • Assess and determine risk exposure for various client types, particularly those prone to higher AML risk.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of AML risk management strategies.

  • Continuously monitor and update testing scripts to adapt to evolving AML regulations and emerging risks.

  • Provide detailed analysis and reporting on AML risk exposure and testing outcomes.

  • Carry the culture in the Know Your Customer Quality Assurance space identifying opportunities and driving them from conception to implementation

  • Conduct regular internal and external meetings (following up with meeting minutes) to track progress on projects and strategic initiatives, resolve issues, and facilitate effective communication and adoption between cross-functional teams

  • Collaborate closely with GFCC Compliance, Risk, Exam Strategy, Operations, and IT departments to align KYC strategic initiatives with broader organizational goals while maintaining a control mindset

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Strong individual contributor with minimum 8 years of extensive experience in AML risk management.

  • In-depth knowledge of AML regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective AML testing scripts.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex client types and risk exposures.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders.

  • Polished verbal and written communication skills including the ability to simplify and communicate complex issues for a variety of audiences; strong negotiation skills and proven organizational agility with the ability to work across all hierarchical and organizational lines; strong issue resolution skills

  • Experience in developing and managing complex processes across multiple sites/geographies and proven track record in building good working relationship across global organizations and influencing change

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; proven ability to produce quality program reports timely and strong interpersonal skills (listening, negotiating, influencing, building trusting relationships)

  • Must be able to deal with ambiguity, think critically, solve problems creatively, plan and meet deadlines, demonstrate strong sense of personal accountability coupled with flexibility to adapt to change in a fast paced environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • ACAMS Certified

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field

  • Previous Anti-money laundering/Know Your Customer and/or Line of Business experience

  • Advanced MS Office suite experience (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Project)
