Carrier RCD Shipping Coordinator in Charlotte, North Carolina

Role Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all safety requirements and wear appropriate (PPE) Personal Protection Equipment.

  • Using SAP, enter Material Transactions, including creating Delivery Tickets and creating customer order shipments in SAP

  • Work with the Material Planner, and warehouse to ensure delivery of emergency orders.

  • Arrange shipping of parts by producing Bills of Ladings, small package shipping labels, and schedule pickups with various transportation carriers.

  • Conduct Daily Cycle Counts.

  • Use Wind Chill to retrieve drawings to identify parts.

  • Communicate with Customer Service Representatives via email and MS Teams to coordinate priority orders and shipments.

  • 5S / Maintain work areas and assist with department housekeeping as needed.

  • Willingness to suggest, participate, and implement Continuous Improvement ideas and procedures

  • Aptitude to learn multiple job responsibilities/duties within the logistics/shipping department and assist other departments when needed.

  • Ability to accept work assignments both indoors and outdoors.

  • Availability to work weekends and overtime when required.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

  • Analytical skills to investigate and resolve issues.

  • Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office Suite Programs, especially Excel, Outlook and Teams

  • Exceptional customer service skills and teamwork

  • Logistics and warehouse experience

Role Purpose:

  • Implementing and monitoring procedures to ensure an adequate supply of product to service customer needs while supporting a fast-paced process-oriented operation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

  • Prior experience with SAP and audit processes.

  • Material handling or inventory background within warehousing.

  • Preferred experience with operating material handling equipment cranes or forklifts.
