Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer who will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows. The team you are joining is responsible for bringing together a vast catalogue of data to help business decision-makers assess risks and opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

-Automating Processes: Focus on identifying, analyzing, and automating manual tasks to streamline operations and minimize errors. Leverage scripting and automation tools to enhance efficiency and reliability.

-Enhancing Deployment and Integration: Manage code merges and deployments with precision, utilizing Git. Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools to automate the build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring a seamless development cycle.

-Cloud Environment Optimization: Work closely with development teams to efficiently integrate new features and services into the cloud environment. Optimize cloud resource utilization to achieve cost-effectiveness without compromising on performance or reliability.

Skills and Requirements

-Must have strong programming skills in languages such as Python or C#, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

-Proven leadership and technical expertise as a Senior / Principal AWS DevOps Engineer, with a comprehensive understanding of the AWS ecosystem

-Relevant certifications in AWS or Kubernetes

-Strong Kubernetes background in real world implementations

-Expert level implementation experience with deploying Terraform

-Proficient across the DevOps lifecycle with a track record of successful Agile or DevOps team participation

-Agile project management tools like Jira

-Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively discussing technical concepts

-Strong implementation experience in CI/CD pipelines, and version control strategies -SRE Skills with a specific emphasis on implementing observability and telemetry. (monitoring system performance, setting up alerts, and creating dashboards to ensure high availability and reliability of services)

-Experience with tools such as Prometheus, AWS CloudWatch, or similar platforms for tracking and analyzing operational metrics is crucial.

-Experience with NoSQL database: MongoDB, DynamoDB

-Ability to work on multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously null
