Wells Fargo Senior Process Engineer in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

About this role:

The Consumer Lending Shared Services Team is looking for a Lead Process Engineer to support our Credit Card and Merchant Services group. The Wells Fargo Credit Card group helps consumers make every day and large purchases through our many products including Wells Fargo Active Cash Card, Wells Fargo Reflect Card and Hotels.com Visa Rewards Card. Our Merchant Services group enables businesses of all sizes to accept, process and settle credit card transactions.

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Process Engineer...

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and lead redesign initiatives that encompass analyses and future state redesigns

  • Manage assigned complex initiatives involving multiple business process segments to identify risks

  • Complete and lead integrated process analyses, identifying procedural and control deficiencies, opportunities, and recommending solutions

  • Consult with team to understand, influence, adapt research, and create alternatives for consideration, drive results, and bring issues to resolution

  • Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives

  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Interact with internal customers

  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 4+ years of Process Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or higher

  • Knowledge and understanding of Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) software such as iGrafx

  • Knowledge and understanding of Statistical Analysis software such as Minitab

  • Agile change skills such as CSM or CPO

  • Change Management skills such as Prosci/ADKAR, CAPM or PMP

  • Strong analytical skill with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications

  • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment

  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills

  • Financial services industry experience

  • Familiarization with Agile tools like JIRA, CA Rally

  • Familiarity with Visio to create standard business artifacts

  • Experience in business and process improvement initiatives and programs

  • Experience in object-oriented modeling & process decomposition

  • Experience in current state process modeling, process re-engineering and future state workflow modeling

Job Expectations:

  • Complete Wells Fargo Black Belt Certification within 12 months of start date

  • Travel Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
