Robert Half Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst in Charlotte, North Carolina

Description

We are looking for a Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will work closely with different business units across Finance and Accounting and will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, as well as reviewing SOX controls.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Handle month-end close journal entries and perform validations as part of the monthly close process.

• Evaluate fluctuations within accounts and disclosures to ensure data completeness and accuracy.

• Review monthly reporting packages for accuracy of core financial statements, including cash flows.

• Collaborate with business units and other departments to provide support for technical accounting matters.

• Document and maintain procedural documents relating to reporting tasks, and manage changes associated with new system implementation.

• Enhance the company's accounting and reporting policies, and oversee their communication and training.

• Conduct ad hoc accounting and financial reporting projects, including technical accounting and reporting research and application.

• Prepare periodic financial statements related to the company’s debt securitization financial statements and debt covenant compliance.

• Oversee the preparation of key SOX controls relating to the consolidations and financial reporting close processes.

• Provide documentation and assistance to external auditors as needed

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Automotive industry.

• Must hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential.

• Proven knowledge and experience in SEC Reporting.

• Demonstrated expertise in Financial Reporting.

• Experience in Annual Financial Reporting is required.

• Proficiency in Financial Reporting Standards is crucial.

• Familiarity with Oracle software is expected.

• Experience in Public Company Reporting is essential.
