Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position provides CCI with a comprehensive set of technical support services including management and security of the college server and storage infrastructure.

• Design, implement, configure, manage, and monitor server and storage infrastructure for CCI research and teaching.

• Investigate, recommend, implement, and enhance hardware and software technologies used by College research teams.

• Identify and implement processes and procedures to improve performance and automate tasks.

• Manage cloud-based services as needed for research and teaching projects.

• Assist with the creation and periodic testing of CCI disaster recovery processes and procedures.

• Acts as a technical liaison with OneIT Infrastructure teams

Minimum Experience / Education:

• Bachelor’s degree and

• Three years of system administration experience.

Preferred Education Skills and Experience:

• Expertise in multiple Linux OS environments including Ubuntu, RHEL , and CentOS.

• Expertise in Windows server environments.
