Siemens Energy Training Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina

Training Manager:

We are looking for a dedicated and expert Training Manager to join our team. The Training Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs to improve employee skills, performance, productivity, and quality of work! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training and development, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous learning!

A Snapshot of Your Day`

  • Review training schedules and participant lists for the day’s sessions.

  • Meet with department heads to discuss upcoming training needs and initiatives.

  • Develop or update training materials and e-learning content.

  • Analyze feedback from recent training sessions to identify areas for improvement.

  • Coordinate with external trainers or vendors for specialized training programs.

  • Supervise a workshop or hands-on training session.

  • Provide mentorship and support to employees as they apply new skills.

  • Review and update the company’s LMS with new training modules and records.

  • Prepare and send out training reports and performance metrics to senior management.

  • Reflect on the day’s training activities and plan for the next day.

  • Ensure all training materials and resources are prepared for upcoming sessions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs that align with the company’s strategic goals.

  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training needs across the organization.

  • Develop training materials, manuals, and e-learning content.

  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels.

  • Use a variety of training methodologies, techniques, and formats, including classroom-based, online, and blended learning.

  • Coordinate with external training providers when vital.

  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, surveys, and performance metrics.

  • Continuously improve training programs based on feedback and changing organizational needs.

  • Track and report on training outcomes and return on investment to senior management.

  • Ensure all training programs comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead the company’s Learning Management System (LMS).

  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.

  • Collaborate with department heads and managers to support their training needs.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in human resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD) is preferred.

  • 5+ years in training and development.

  • Shown experience in designing and implementing successful training programs.

  • Ability to work efficiently with teams with varied strengths and stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and training software.

  • Travel: Occasional travel may be required for training purposes.

  • Work Environment: This position may require occasional work outside of normal business hours to meet training schedules.
