RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver functionality to the CFO line of business to more effectively control the bank’s capital reserves.
Monitor architecture and development activities and delivery.
Define and maintain development standards and processes to ensure delivery of high-quality code.
Design and develop features on the platform.
Design pattern and framework for web applications.
Use and translate screen comprehensives to develop code.
Apply architectural patterns and principles to achieve reusability, testability, scalability, and maintainability.
Design and develop database applications, design logical structures or models for the storing, retrieving and processing of data as per project requirements in alignment with overall project architecture.
Develop and code designed components in line with required coding standards and best practices.
Perform analysis, tuning and optimizations to identify performance bottlenecks and refactor/ optimize database application code to enhance response time and throughput.
Provide production support and technical support to live/ in-production database applications such as resolving incidents, identifying root cause, providing workarounds and short - and long term fixes to incidents.
Coordinate with development team and business teams to gather and detail requirements and confirm functional scenarios.
Support project lifecycle activities including requirement analysis, tasks scheduling and tracking, implementation/ deployment, and documentation.
Utilize Oracle Exadata, Autosys, HP-Vertica, PL/SQL, Unix, and IBM DB2 to support technical tasks and database applications.
REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related; and
3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:
