Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a qualified Sr. Systems Administrator to work fully on site in support of a large Federal program out of Charlottesville VA. The ideal candidate's day-to-day will include, but is not limited to:

-Responsible for activities related to system administration. Assigns personnel to various projects, directs their activities, and evaluates their work.

-Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.

-Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software. Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.

Schedule: Mon. through Fri. - 5 days/week on site

-Core hours 6am to 6pm - 8 hour days, 40 hour work weeks

Hourly Pay Rate Range (Depending on Experience) $40.43/hr-$51.13/hr

Skills and Requirements

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-Security + certification

-8140.01 Compliant IAT II certification

-Master's degree with 10+ years of experience OR Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience

-Ability to meet the fully on-site requirements of the positoin -Previous work experience at NGIC

-scripting experience across Bash

-Computing Environment Cloud Practitioner Certification (Can take course following start; 3 day course)

-Experience effectively communicating with government clients on a day to day null
