Job Description Position Summary: During your internship, you'll be a member of a small manufacturing engineering team working to develop new processes, improve existing processes, and optimize the manufacturing process of semiconductor capital equipment. This internship is payrolled via payroll process provider. Responsibilities: Problem-solving efforts and coordination of quality notifications from production floor and customers Partnering with production and field service on assigned projects Documentation and release of production processes Qualifications: Pursuing BS or MS degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related degree Demonstrated "hands on" mechanical and troubleshooting ability Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship Ability to work in a Class I semiconductor clean room Physical Requirements: Job duties are often performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds is required. May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing. May require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous element or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc. Occasional overnight travel to TEL factory, training facilities and customer locations may be required.
