Atlantic Health System RN, Clinical Supervisor- Family Practice at Chatham in Chatham, New Jersey

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse, Clinical Supervisor with management experience to provide leadership, guidance, and supervision of the clinical staff.

The Practice Clinical Supervisor, RN, in this role would oversee AMG Chatham Family Medicine in collaboration with the Practice Manager.

Essential Functions:

  • The Practice Clinical Supervisor, RN, will be responsible for the clinical day to day operations of the center-patient satisfaction, scheduling, etc.

  • Provides assistance, direction and leadership to the clinical team which includes RN, LPN, and CMAs.

  • Conducts and collaborates with nursing team for phone triaging

  • Oversees medication management

  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served and monitor patient flow

  • Oversees practice clinical projects and initiatives.

  • Assists in cost management, including product evaluation, prevention of waste/damage, room utilization, control of overtime, floor coverage due to low staffing and appropriate staffing

  • Coordination of stock management including medications, clinical supplies, and others

  • Promote patient engagement/education while identifying areas for improvement to enhance patient care

  • Other related duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing Administration or related field a plus.

  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in a primary care or family medicine setting.

  • Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising and mentoring nursing staff.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technology platforms.

  • Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
