Aerotek Mechanical Service Technician in Chattanooga, Tennessee

Job Description:

As a Traveling Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance, repair, and support for our CO2 equipment at customer locations. This role requires extensive travel (all local to the Chattanooga and North Georgia area) to ensure our clients receive timely and efficient service. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and performance of our equipment, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional service.

Pay: $21 per hour + .65 cent mileage reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer sites to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CO2 equipment.

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment functionality.

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.

  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports and documentation.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CO2 equipment technology.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies during all service activities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a service technician, preferably with CO2 equipment or similar machinery.

  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to varying schedules.

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
