Job Responsibilities

• Addressing minor issues and complaints. Ensuring all customer communication is clearly documented.
• Answering inbound customer service calls; redirecting phone calls when appropriate.
• Ensuring all calls are accurately and quickly routed to the proper area.

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1 year - Customer Service telephone experience required

Skills\Certifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills
• Customer service oriented

The Member Benefits Administration division at BCBST is looking to add a PBX Operator to our team. Previous call center or switchboard experience is preferred . In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with all lines of business within BCBST by answering and re-directing phone calls to the appropriate team, or individual, to suit the callers’ needs. This role will have a weekly rotating shift to cover the hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm Eastern. Overtime may be required per business needs.
