The Chattanooga Heart Institute offers the most comprehensive cardiac care available in this region. Founded in 1976 we now have six offices in Tennessee and one in Georgia. Our practice is made up of 29 board-certified cardiologists and four cardiothoracic surgeons. We merged with CHI Memorial Health Care System in 2011 which is part of CommonSpirit Health. Responsibilities

Job Summary :

Responsible for documenting and routing all incoming procedural risk evaluations whether by phone calls from patients, hospitals, and providers or by paper requests. This employee will track the procedural risk forms from receiving until billed by the business office.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Communicate timely with outside offices and providers who are requesting risk stratification for our mutual patients.

• Communicates with patients that there may be an insurance charge for this service.

• Routes/coordinates with scheduling and clinical staff for patients to have periprocedural cardiac risk evaluation completed by appropriate provider.

• Completes appropriate tacking documentation for periprocedural cardiac risk evaluation forms. Sends completed form to requesting provider/facility and documents and files in EHR.

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications:

• Two years of hospital or medical office experience. Cardiology office experience preferred.

Pay Range

$16.26 - $22.36 /hour
