Lockheed Martin Systems Integration Test Lead / Remote Interceptor Guidance 360 in Chelmsford, Massachusetts

The Lockheed Martin Chelmsford, MA facility is seeking an experienced System Integration and Test Engineer to join our growing team at our campus in Chelmsford, MA. In this exciting role the engineer will have the opportunity to support our multifaceted test consoles designed, built, and maintained at our facility.

What You Will Be Doing

As a System Integration and Test Engineer your mission will be to support architecting new test stands to system level requirements, designing test solutions, developing algorithms and techniques, and supporting complex digital, RF, and/or microwave custom automated test equipment (ATE) systems.

Our day to day activities vary from production floor support of existing test stands, supporting and facilitating the development of duplicate test stands to meet production needs as well as development of new test capabilities for new and redesigned products. Our role uniquely offers a wide variety of tasking across every piece of the life cycle of a test.

Test Engineering is vital to the Chelmsford operation as we ensure that we are consistently producing reliable products that meet our customer(s) requirements.

Lockheed Chelmsford offers an excellent working environment with a mix of the latest design technologies, genuine hands-on production and laboratory testing as well as product development.

We offer unique exposure to the complete design lifecycle from product design to complete production sell off.

Successful candidates for this role will have excellent collaboration skills in order to ensure alignment between our engineering team(s), program management team(s), as well as the production floor.

A solid background in troubleshooting and debugging are essential as this position will involve supporting the existing installed test equipment base used on production floor as well as developing new equipment.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience using Microsoft Office products to generate status reports, project plans, work instructions, etc.

-Experience writing, editing and supporting existing software code base (LabVIEW or C).

-Experience in analyzing and resolving problems.

-Experience in managing and prioritizing your own workload that may consist of several tasks at once.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

-Experience in effectively working on teams.

-Active DOD Secret Clearance.

-Ability to work with minimal detailed direction to deliver desired results.

Desired Skills:

- Bachelor's from an accredited college in a related discipline – Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study and approximately 9 years of experience. Specific critical program related experience and knowledge may allow flexibility in total years required

.- Demonstrated Program/Project leadership experience on similar Program(s)

- Demonstrated knowledge of the technical aspect of the RF Test Equipment in Chelmsford

- Experience with PAC3 program Policies Process and Procedures LM uses to align to customer expectations

- Familiarity with development program goals and expectations as it relates to Test Equipment

- Proficiency in completion of development tasks including DVT, Qual, PDR, CDR, and verification and validation

- Familiarity with Cost Account Managers for Test Control accounts.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
