Lockheed Martin Technician Production Test Specialist in Chelmsford, Massachusetts

What You Will Be Doing

In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

Perform test, tune, and troubleshoot of mid-range to highly complex military RF microwave hybrid assemblies. Duties also include testing units over temperature, during vibration and mechanical shock, as well as putting units into burn-in ovens. Testing is performed using state of the art specialized, manual and automated test equipment to specifications outlined in work instructions and acceptance test procedures. Use of the computer is required to retrieve test procedures, assembly drawings and schematics as well as to input test yield data.

Perform a variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of specific production units. Use standard electronic assembly tools and materials. May perform modifications, rework, and quality testing. Collaborate with RF, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering to develop procedures and troubleshoot product to specifications.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. A company-sponsored Interim Secret is required to start.

Basic Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the test, tune, and troubleshoot of a variety of complex RF Microwave Hybrid assemblies

• Ability to work under a microscope as required to test, tune and troubleshoot RF microwave hybrid assemblies

• Ability to utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers and other similar tools; Good dexterity, eye/hand coordination

• Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings; computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job activities

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Must obtain at least Interim Secret clearance prior to starting

Desired Skills:

• Experience operating computer driven mechanical vibration equipment

• Experience soldering components in accordance with J-STD-001 to support the tuning process

• Experience with data analysis of RF Microwave test data

• Experience in writing test procedures and troubleshooting from schematics

• Familiarity working in an ESD and FOD controlled environment

• Experience in mechanical assembly processes of small electronic devices

• Experience working on military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environment

• Ability to work in a diverse team environment; Good interpersonal, teaming and communication skills

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
