Our client, JIFFY mixes, is currently seeking a highly mechanically-inclined, team-minded individual to work as Machine Maintenance Technician! This is a full-time direct-hire opening with candidates first completing an onboarding/orientation period through Manpower.

Job Title:  Machine Maintenance Technician

Location:  Chelsea, Michigan

Pay Range:  $32.25 per hour + $0.30 per hour shift premium

*What's the Job? *

• Set up, maintain, and operate manufacturing and packaging equipment, assuring operation at optimal speed/efficiency
• Perform predictive and preventative maintenance on machines
• Perform various tests, adjustments, cleaning, and verification of machines
• Produce shop orders
• Ensure appropriate materials/supplies on hand
• Communicate regularly with other department employees and management

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED
• Demonstrated relevant work experience
• Ability to train on first but work on any shift after training is completed
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience with PLC-controlled machinery and HMI programming/settings
• Ability to complete essential physical functions including, but not limited to lifting up to 50-80lbs, consistent standing, and repetitive motions
• Ability to follow food and safety guidelines
• Prior food manufacturing/processing experience is helpful, but not required
