Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description

The Controls Test Engineer will lead the development and implementation of the manufacturing process, focusing on automated and manual sheet metal fabrications. They will plan and improve current production methods and will serve as a key member of the engineering team. Responsibilities include carrying out needed engineering initiatives, supporting product design, planning and coordinating projects, and sustaining engineering.

Hard Skills

  • Implementation and testing of automation equipment and processes

  • Designing and testing automation equipment and processes

  • Programming new automated components

  • Writing reports to document problems, solutions, actions, and communication findings

  • Eliminating defects and errors in product and software development

  • Continuous improvement focused on improving machine utilization and achieving delivery targets

  • Utilizing CAD software and simulation tools for sheet metal design and optimization

  • Maintaining, debugging, repairing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of equipment

  • Experience with robotics, AI and machine learning, and PLC programming

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Cheney, Washington.

Work Environment

Primarily an onsite role, inside of a manufacturing facility.
