Summary You will serve as a HEAT TREATER WORKER in the MRO PRODUCTION of FLTREADCEN EAST. Responsibilities You will adjust belt grinders, pulleys, or other equipment used to repair, maintain, or fabricate metal parts and equipment. You will report hazards, malfunctioning equipment, damaged materials, or other situations that may impact work operations or the safety of others. You will coat metal objects with chromium, nickel, cadmium, silver, copper, tin, aluminum, or other metals and alloys to create decorative finishes or to build up surfaces. You will certify the sequential operations performed to meet requirements of the metallic diffusion coating process. You will read temperature gages and observe color changes to determine if adjustments to furnace flames, torches, or electrical heating units are needed. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
