Aerotek Controls Maintenance Technician in Chesapeake, Virginia

  • Responsibilities :

  • Maintain all process control systems, including troubleshooting PLCs.

  • Execute control systems tasks related to project execution or plant troubleshooting.

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize and refine control algorithms.

  • Familiarity with networking hardware, protocols, and security, with a focus on system integration.

  • Handle operational troubleshooting, start-ups, and shutdowns for system processes.

  • Repair and maintain all plant equipment, with proper training.

  • Possess the skills necessary to work with complex machinery.

  • Troubleshoot and address mechanical issues.

  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.

  • Develop and implement electrical and electronic control systems.

  • Manage capital projects and optimize operations.

  • Supervise construction engineers, safety guards, and CAD associates.
