Job Title: Skilled Laborer (Patcher)

Job Description

Join our team as a Skilled Laborer (Patcher) where you will perform tasks assigned by the Front Line Supervisor related to the production of precast concrete products. Your role will involve smoothing and finishing surfaces of poured concrete, as well as making repairs to finished concrete products using a variety of hand and power tools. You will perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor, patch finished concrete products, maintain a clean job site by picking up all tools and equipment, and secure the job site each day to eliminate potential hazards. Additionally, you will handle materials, load and unload trucks, and ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Work Environment

You will be working in a production environment characterized by loud noise, equipment, and variable lighting. The conditions can be dirty and dusty at times. Shifts available are 4am-3pm or 6am-4pm, Monday-Friday with overtime as needed.
