Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Controls Software Engineer to work onsite in Cheshire, CT. This role will be focused on supporting field engineers when they have software problems with the devices. This role will mainly focus on application development, systems setups, and troubleshooting field equipment. This candidate should be expected to write the code necessary to ensure end-product functionality. The right candidate for this role will have a senior-level understanding of coding in C# and .NET. This candidate should also have experience working with SQL (PostgreSQL or MS SQL). This candidate should also have experience working with web API's. Any experience in the PLC or industrial control systems is a plus for this role.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience working with C# and .NET programming

5+ years of experience working within SQL databases

Strong understanding of web API's

Prior experience in the manufacturing space and working with engineering teams

Commitment to safety regulations in the engineering space Knowledge of PLCs or industrial control systems

Experience with Mobus

Previous work experience in the gas industry null
