Heavy Equipment Operator (Chester, Richmond, and Chesterfield VA areas)

Job Description

We are currently seeking skilled Equipment Operators to perform work for pipe and grade crews on various projects based in Chesterfield, VA. You will be responsible for operating Excavators and Dozers. If assigned to the pipe crew, your primary duty will be to operate excavators to dig trenches for pipe installation. If you are on the grade crew, you will be operating loaders, excavators and dozers to perform both rough and fine grading tasks.

Hard Skills

• Operation of Excavators and Dozers

• Digging trenches for pipe installation

• Operating loaders for rough and fine grading tasks

Additional Skills

• 2+ years of experience operating heavy Caterpillar Equipment (Dozer/Excavator)

• Experience installing pipe, storm water lines, etc.

• Rough grade experience

• Commercial Construction Experience

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chester, Virginia.

Work Environment

Our team works 40-60 hour weeks, depending on weather conditions. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, between 7am and 5 or 6pm. The projects are located in and around Richmond, VA, including two in Chesterfield.
