One of the world's most reputable manufacturers of industrial sewing machines in the sewing industry, with a facility in Chesterfield, Michigan, is currently seeking several Industrial Sewing Machine Technicians for long-term opportunities with their expanding Service Department. Industrial Sewing Machine Technicians will perform installations and maintenance on a variety of highly advanced state-of-the-art industrial sewing machines. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding with sewing machine repairs and on-the-job training is available.

Industrial Sewing Machine Technicians hourly rates are anticipated to start between $28 to $42 per hour based on each candidates experience and education. We will pay more for the right skills and experience. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours. Qualified Industrial Sewing Machine Technicians will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

• Preferred experience with sewing machines or similar equipment: embroidery, perforation equipment, sergers, heat sealing, sonic welding, CNC sewing machinery.
• Good mechanical aptitude with a focus on industrial sewing machines for servicing and installations.
• Experience with sewing machine manuals, parts prints, and any CAD (apparel/pattern making) software.
• Experience with operating sewing machines, including working with needles, bobbins, with the ability to sew and work with various types of fabrics.
• Open to traveling several times a year for installations, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Fluent in English required, Spanish is a plus, but not necessary.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States, H-1B and TN Visas are encouraged to apply.
• Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
