Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and processing all invoices received for payment and undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process invoices and payment requests.
Vendor Management: Maintain and update vendor files, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
Payment Processing: Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, as well as check payments.
Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date.
Expense Reports: Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
Reporting: Generate and analyze accounts payable reports and assist with month-end closing.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, and assist with audits as needed.
Communication: Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Work Environment
5 days a week in office until systems are automated, then it will be 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
