JOB TITLE:                 Facility Supervisor

CLASSIFICATION:    Non-Exempt -- Part Time

DEPARTMENT:        CRE/Programs & Facilities

SUPERVISOR:          Programs & Facilities Manager

SALARY:                    $14-$16 Per Hour

 

*GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION                                                                                                 *

 

Birthday/Facility Rental Supervisor is expected to perform opening & closing duties, facility & equipment set-up, handle problems and complaints as they arise and direct to immediate supervisor, if needed, keep facility neat and clean, and perform duties specific to the facility and/or event as needed.

 

*PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES                                                                             *

  1.  
  • Greet and welcome renters while monitoring a City Rental Facility to assure proper use and prevent abuse while checking for required permits and enforcing rules pertaining to permits; aid with rental set-up and tear-down as directed.
  • Assists in overall facility supervision and protection of program(s)     
  • Addresses sensitive situations, complaints and compliments from patrons and relay information to supervisor.
  • Opening and closing duties of the various facilities
  • Facility walk-around to ensure safety, cleanliness and observe patrons.
  • Cleaning of facility and/or grounds
  • Work independently and without much supervision.

*QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB                                                                              *

 

Required:

High school student. Must be 16 years of age at time of application.

 

Preferred:

Previous work experience.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for making observations, communicating with others, reading, and writing. The employee is also required to maintain physical condition necessary for operating assigned equipment, walking, standing, kneeling, repeated bending or sitting for prolonged periods of time and lifting to 30 pounds. Maintain mental capacity which allows the capability of making sound decisions demonstrating intellectual capabilities.

 

Working Environment:

Both indoor and outdoor environments; irregular working hours (Evenings and Weekends).
