    Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Execute the highest level of automotive diagnostics and repair while leading the shop under the Ken Garff core values

  • Assist service technicians with difficult diagnostics

  • Train and develop all service technicians while ensuring that everyone is up to date with vendor certifications

  • Address the customer’s primary concern with diagnosis, repair and quality control to attain Fixed First Visit expectations

  • Ensure the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection on every vehicle

  • Master our Dealer Management System (Reynolds) for time keeping, work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes and communication

  • Keep the shop in ship shape and can always account for all dealership-owned tools

  • Ace your assigned factory-sponsored training classes

  • Maintain knowledge of all factory technical bulletins

  • Leave no trace in a customer’s car by keeping it clean

  • Understand federal, state and local regulations

  • Other duties as assigned

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Prior experience working as a Shop Foreman is highly preferred

  • Experience in leading a team or being a team lead in a mechanic shop environment is required

  • Master or Senior Master manufacture certifications are strongly desired

  • Ability to read and comprehend job-related instructions and information, whether electronic or paper-based

  • Excel at diagnostics, drive-ability, and solving electrical problems

  • Capable of diagnosing and repairing any/all types of vehicle systems

  • Excellent manual dexterity skills as well as patience, creativity, and an eye for detail

  • A valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record, per company standards
