Description We are offering an exciting opportunity based in CHICAGO, Illinois, in the telecom industry. We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The role involves managing customer accounts, detecting inconsistencies, and handling customer inquiries and complaints related to account receivables.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer account balances to identify outstanding debts or other inconsistencies.

• Send payment reminders and engage with customers when necessary.

• Respond to customer inquiries and address complaints related to account receivables in a timely manner.

• Report to upper management regarding any issues with account receivables.

• Develop and maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

• Utilize various software and platforms including Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform tasks efficiently.

• Exhibit strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.

• Show willingness to learn any new systems that may be introduced.

• Display excellent math ability, organizational skills, and communication skills both oral and written.

• Foster a positive team environment and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.

• Manage a diverse customer client base effectively. Requirements • Must have proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential

• Familiarity with Billing procedures is required

• Knowledge of Cash Applications is a must

• Experience in Cash Collections is required

• Proficiency in Commercial Collections is necessary

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Oracle is a plus

• Experience with QuickBooks is desirable

• Knowledge of SAP is a requirement
