Job Description

Position Overview

As an Associate, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will utilize your financial modeling and analysis experience to contribute to Invenergy's FP&A team.

  • Partner with Development, Transmission and Construction teams to help ensure the communication of our development pipeline liquidity requirements are achieved.

  • Support short-term and long-term cash forecasting process for operating and development projects, including reporting responsibilities to executive management.

  • Work directly with the Finance team on the execution of corporate financing deliverables (due diligence, projections, etc.)

  • Conduct and present ongoing analysis of key business drivers, trends, and metrics, and provide recommendations on actions and next steps to management throughout the organization.

  • Design and drive the implementation of processes and procedures to support and standardize the Financial Planning functions.

  • Provide modeling expertise to help drive efficiencies and standards within the FP&A Department’s deliverables.

Based Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

  • 2+ years of related experience in financial analysis and reporting.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office – specifically Excel

  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills; able to effectively communicate with multiple departments and levels throughout the organization.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines while working autonomously.

  • Team player – able to coordinate productively across departments to achieve company-wide goals.

  • Must be a driver of continuous improvement.

  • Energy/Renewable Energy industry experience preferred.

  • Experience working with Oracle Cloud is a plus
