One Hope United Bilingual Foster Care Supervisor - CWEL Required in Chicago, Illinois

One Hope United’s Foster Care program provides a range of quality services to children in foster care and their caregivers. As Bilingual Foster Care Supervisor, you would oversee the delivery of services in the Foster Care program in accordance with program guidelines.

What you would be doing (through a hybrid work location model):

  • • Reviews intake information of clients referred for services and determines if the referral will be accepted• Oversees case responsibilities and provides guidance in case-planning• Staffs all cases with appropriate staff weekly or less frequently if warranted• Provides supervision to professional and para-professional staff on therapeutic approaches with clients• Reviews all written documents generated by staff• Attends court hearings, case reviews, staffing, and meetings as needed• Reviews funding source policies and procedures and trains staff on the implementation of these procedures• Works with staff to ensure permanency for clients• Ensures that the required documents are in the case file• Ensures that staff handles unusual incidents in a prompt and effective manner• Participates in various collateral and community groups to promote agency programs and to network with the community, creating community linkages and opportunities.• Completes various outcome reports as required• Participates in required meetings and training with the funding source• Provides staff with training, education, ongoing supervision, and support• Engages staff in professional• Monitors program expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints

  • Current hybrid model – 3 days in office per week; job functions often remote (court, meetings, staffings), client contact in person

In addition, you will receive:

What we will expect of you:

  • Masters degree in Social Services required

  • Masters degree in Social Work preferred

  • CWEL, CERAP, and/or CANS required

  • Placement Specialty preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in child welfare required

  • Fluent in Spanish required

  • Auto Insurance

  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

  • Physical Exam/TB
