Description

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be a part of a team responsible for the configuration analysis, maintenance, debugging, and data mapping for internal applications used within the company. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and is hybrid in Chicago.

Responsibilities include:

• Identifying opportunities to improve or gain efficiencies within a large portfolio of applications.

• Understanding the integration between systems.

• Researching and resolving problems and issues.

• Implementing temporary solutions to problems when appropriate and recommending solution alternatives.

• Debugging and maintaining applications.

• Utilizing SQL and working with SSO.

• Working with business functions for requirements gathering.

• Comfortable using Atlassian Jira, Business systems, Confluence, Database, EO/IR systems, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Business Requirement Document, Design, and Diagram.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role

• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and Confluence

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems, Agile Scrum, and AB Testing methodologies

• Experience with Database design and management

• Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents

• Solid understanding of business systems and their interconnections

• Expertise in creating diagrams to represent business processes

• Familiarity with design principles and best practices

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

• Relevant professional certification would be advantageous.
