We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Cloud Engineer based in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team, working on cutting-edge cloud technologies. You will leverage your skills in Ansible, Atlassian Jira, Automation, Configuration Management, Continuous Integration (CI), Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Databricks to contribute to our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and implement cloud-based solutions using Azure.

• Automate various processes to increase efficiency and performance.

• Manage and maintain Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Databricks.

• Collaborate with the team to identify and implement the best cloud solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud technologies.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain current.

• Implement Continuous Integration (CI) strategies to improve software development processes.

• Utilize EO/IR systems and AB testing to ensure optimal performance.

• Ensure all cloud-based solutions adhere to industry best practices and standards.

• Contribute to configuration management and infrastructure planning.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a related field

• Proficient in cloud technologies and services, particularly AWS and Azure

• Demonstrated experience with Amazon EC2 and Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks

• Proficient in Ansible for configuration management

• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira for project management

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems and AB Testing

• Experience in automation and continuous integration (CI)

• Familiarity with configuration management

• Strong understanding of AWS Technologies

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
