Job Title: Commercial Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated journeyman electricians and apprentice-level electricians to assist with medium to large-sized commercial construction projects. These projects will include both new construction and reconstruction efforts. The electricians will be responsible for running wire, bending conduit, and troubleshooting as needed on various commercial projects. Additionally, electricians will be responsible for guiding electrician helpers through different aspects of the work and delegating tasks where necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Run wire and bend conduit on commercial construction projects.

  • Read and follow blueprints accurately.

  • Troubleshoot electrical issues as they arise.

  • Delegate tasks and guide electrician helpers.

  • Collaborate with the general contractor and other subcontractors on site.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with commercial electrician work.

  • Ability to run wire and bend conduit.

  • Proficiency in reading and following blueprints.

  • Capability to work independently on all aspects of electrical work.

  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with industrial facilities, commercial buildings, hotels, and high-end residential projects.

Work Environment

All work will take place on commercial job sites, including industrial facilities, commercial buildings, hotels, and high-end residential properties. Electricians will interact with general contractors and other subcontractors on site. This job site is in Chicago.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $36.00
