We are seeking a Compensation Senior Analyst to join our growing Rewards and Recognition team at Protiviti.

What You Can Expect:

The Compensation Senior Analyst at Protiviti is a critical role responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs that align with the company’s strategic objectives. In this position, you will play a key role in administering the annual bonus plan, ensuring competitive compensation practices, and maintaining internal equity. With your advanced experience in Workday and strong analytical skills, you will act as a liaison with IT to ensure seamless integration of compensation systems and conduct thorough testing prior to executing annual processes. This role offers you a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of shaping fair and equitable compensation practices at Protiviti while working closely with technology partners to optimize HR systems. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to attract, retain, and motivate top talent.

What You Will Do:

  • Administer the company’s annual bonus plan, ensuring accurate calculation and timely distribution based on performance metrics.

  • Serve as a primary contact for IT regarding compensation system needs; collaborate on system solutions that support compensation functions.

  • Lead testing efforts for the Workday compensation module prior to roll-out of annual processes; ensure accuracy and functionality meet business requirements.

  • Prepare comprehensive survey submissions for both US and International markets to support strategic decision-making. Manage pay grade structures effectively while administering annual and mid-year compensation programs including merit increases, stock options, promotions, and bonuses.

  • Leverage survey data for market pricing positions accurately; recommend appropriate job grades/salary ranges.

  • Generate ad-hoc reports upon request; provide insightful peer reviews for robustness of data interpretation.

  • Ability to build strong partnerships with various teams and guide them on intricacies of compensation plans.

  • Act as an advisor on job grades, salary ranges, job descriptions, and classifications.

  • Strong collaboration skills, specifically with Human Resources Business Partners, to analyze job creation/reclassification requests ensuring alignment with overall company policies.

  • You have exceptional analytical thinking with meticulous attention to detail.

  • You thrive when managing multiple projects simultaneously, not compromising outcome quality.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities within team environments.

  • You enjoy cross-departmental collaboration and possess strong communication skills.

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or related discipline is required.

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience within Human Resources Information Systems; extensive hands-on experience with Workday is essential.

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is highly advantageous

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite – especially Excel – for complex data analysis projects

Our Hybrid Workplace

Protiviti practices a hybrid model, which is a combination of working in person with a purpose and working remotely. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements vary by client, project, team, and other business factors. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local or out-of-state travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments.

Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.

$77,000.00 - $117,000.00

Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. Below is the bonus target opportunity for this job.

The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity. Below is the estimated total cash range for this job.

$83,160.00 - $126,360.00

Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverages, FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave up to 10 weeks, and short/long term disability. We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions. We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service. New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. Protiviti also recognizes up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year.
