We’re looking for a highly skilled Early Career Talent Recruiter to join our team and help us find exceptional new graduates and interns. The ideal candidate will have experience in campus recruitment or human resources, with a focus on coordinating campus events and hiring entry-level talent. We’re seeking someone passionate about discovering untapped talent, driving company growth, and helping individuals start successful careers. In this role, you will join a talented team of collaborative Human Resources professionals dedicated to improving the employee experience at Sargent & Lundy.

Responsibilities will likely include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Develop relationships with university career centers and faculty to build awareness of our hiring needs and job specifications.

  • Participate in and coordinate campus recruiting events, including career fairs, information sessions, and on-campus interviews.

  • Write and post job descriptions on relevant platforms, focusing on entry-level positions and internships.

  • Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative strategies to find quality candidates and prospect for new talent.

  • Screen resumes and CVs, and manage job candidates throughout the hiring process, from interview preparation to final-offer negotiation.

  • Schedule interviews, arrange travel for candidates, and ensure a smooth candidate experience.

  • Maintain a database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, hired and fired employees, and other designations.

    This position offers a hybrid schedule with the expectation of 3 days per week in the office, and the remainder remote / virtual.

Qualifications

We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.

Required skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management with a major/concentration in Human Resources or a related field.

  • 1 or more years of experience as a recruiter.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of productivity software, database management, and internet search methods.

  • Proven success in conducting interviews using various methods (phone, video, email, in-person).

  • Familiarity with internet sourcing skills, such as Boolean search, and experience with some of the following: LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or other job boards.

  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced recruiting environment.

  • Willingness to travel and work occasional overtime.

    Valued but not required skills and experience:

  • Experience at a consulting, professional services, or architecture / engineering firm, or staffing firm

  • Experience working with iCIMS

  • HR Certifications
