We’re looking for a motivated Senior Field Sales Trainer focused on leading the development and delivery of educational materials to salespeople and leaders in the MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) industry. This role is responsible for driving sales employee engagement and retention by improving the effectiveness of sales representatives and managers throughout their employment journey with the Company.

This role will work from a home office and will travel to provide training. We offer 401k plus vision, dental and medical benefits, as well as a paid holiday and PTO package.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers highly engaging and interactive sales training programs across various media, including in-person and virtual/digital methods of engagement, working with the subject matter experts.

  • Executes the field sales employee onboarding program, working with sales and corporate stakeholders to ensure on-time execution and quality standards are met.

  • Delivers educational classes and programs in an in-person, hands-on atmosphere, to assess aptitude and provide in-situ feedback and coaching.

  • Employs best-in-class adult learning facilitation and engagement strategies to ensure comprehension and retention of educational materials and skills.

  • Crafts thoughtful and effective educational content in alignment with the Company's go-to-market and sales strategies, collaborating with stakeholders from instructional design, field sales, sales operations, marketing, product management, and engineering.

  • Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, education or communications, with at least three years of experience working in a corporate or academic education capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Past sales experience and experience in the MRO industry are preferred, but not required.

  • Highly literate in all aspects of business technology with in-depth knowledge of MS Office products (Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint), virtual training/education platforms, and business intelligence systems (Microsoft BI preferred).

  • Exceptional knowledge of producing live events using web-based presentation platforms (Teams, Zoom) as a means to collaborate and deliver highly effective virtual training.

  • Experience using audio/visual production equipment.

  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to plan and sequence work for oneself and other content/design contributors.

  • Highly engaging verbal and written communication skills with superior ability to facilitate interactive engagements with learners and peers.

  • Superior ability to present and impart knowledge with groups of all sizes.

  • Highly collaborative with a proven ability to gain alignment across stakeholders to achieve a common goal or vision.

  • Familiarity teaching and/or executing a consultative sales process.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to inspire excitement and passion in others.

  • Committed to continuously improving one's skills and staying current with best practices in the field of adult and sales education.

  • Willingness to travel up to 5 days per month.
