General Maintenance Technician

Jetro Restaurant Depot General Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of multiple equipment types in their assigned stores Working closely with the Director of HVAC, Refrigeration, and Energy Management, they will be responsible for management of preventative and reactive work in their assigned stores. They will also be responsible for overseeing the timely and proper completion of 3rd party vendors, where applicable

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Major and minor preventative maintenance of applicable equipment types to include: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, Refrigeration and other assigned equipment

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain and repair in store equipment

• Ensure all resources are available to complete the work in a timely manner to include: parts inventory, tracking and ordering parts, and developing relationships with branches, suppliers, and contractors

• Maintain positive, working, relationships with assigned branches, regionals, and directors

• Oversee work completion of 3rd party vendors, where applicable

• Work alongside HVAC/Refrigeration Technician, if applicable

• Night/Weekend work may be required based on operation of the in store systems

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years experience in maintenance

• Hold a valid state-issued drivers license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report

Preferred Qualifications:

• General knowledge of building controls systems and HVAC/Refrigeration systems

• Previous experience in various maintenance trades including: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment, etc)

• Ability to adapt to changing, and competing, demands using best judgment to set priorities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: $19 to 30 per hour, depending on experience and location. Actual rate will meet, or exceed, the required minimum wage applicable to the job location
