INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGER

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

Number of Positions: 1

DUTIES: The INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGER for the Chicago Department of Aviation performs the following duties:

Facilitates weekly briefings with the ITT Director/Asst. Dir. if necessary and daily morning scrum with security specialist team to discuss daily tasks and any outstanding tasks needing attention. Occasionally, conducts site visits to the AOC for coordination/check-in with on duty specialist. Reviews ongoing scans/audits and follows up as necessary. Reaches out/coordinates with 3rd party contractors/consultants to remediate any known issues as necessary. Assesses and assigns tasks to IT Security Specialist team as necessary. Provides assistance with ongoing scans/audits. Interfaces/coordinates with the City’s CISO pertaining to policies and procedures as well as any amendments pertaining to the CDA. Monitors world events pertaining to network and cybersecurity for any potential threats to the CDA/CoC. Performs other tasks as assigned by the ITT Director/Asst. Dir. and/or executive team. Performs other related duties as required.

LOCATION: Chicago Department of Aviation, O’Hare and Midway International Airports

Main Location 10510 W. ZEMKE, AVIATION ADMIN BULIDING

HOURS: 8:30am - 4:30pm

DAYS: Monday - Friday

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, or a directly related field plus five years of experience in information security management and/or network architecture, including three years of project management experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
