JPMorgan Chase International Banking Specialist - Priority Clients in Chicago, Illinois

As a Priority International Banking Specialist covering the Midwest region, you are responsible for bringing our international platform to US-based companies in this fast-growing region within Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (MMBSI).

As a member of the International team, you will partner closely with the domestic Banking and Treasury teams as well as our in-country bankers to provide Treasury, Credit, Trade and Foreign Exchange solutions to US-Headquartered clients and prospects that are operating internationally. As an International Banker, you will cover a Priority portfolio maintain and grow our largest global client relationships by helping established companies navigate the geo-political, regulatory, and banking landscape in each of the 30+ countries that the Commercial Bank operates in.

This is a client facing, revenue generating role that requires you to be extremely well organized and multi-tasking to manage internal and client relationships across time zones.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Consulting clients on their international banking needs, with a strong emphasis on Treasury Services and working capital solutions

  • Develop new business with large US-HQ clients and prospects that have a presence across multiple countries

  • Liaise with clients, Banking, Treasury, Trade, FX and Product Partners to develop client solutions and drive portfolio growth

  • Monitor portfolio profitability and post-close revenue ramp

  • Uncover and scoping new revenue streams and ensuring the highest standards of client obsession are met

  • Understand the nuances of clients' transaction flows and underlying business drivers

  • Represent the firm's International capabilities at both internal and external events in the market

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • 6+ years of treasury sales or banking experience

  • Demonstrates the ability to understand International Treasury Solutions products, pricing objectives and billing process & procedures

  • Strong drive and ambition to be an individual contributor salesperson with sales and relationship management skills

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to mobilize internal networks and resources

  • Time management, organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven track record of results-oriented performance, as well as building and influencing strategic relationships; capable of working with minimal supervision

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and superior analytical and quantitative skills
