Leased Employee, International Logistics

Team Rubicon (TR) is seeking an experienced Leased Employee, International Logistics to join our TR International team!

Every day will be a challenge, but every month brings new opportunities for an organization that is quickly becoming a household name in disaster response. This position reports to TR’s Senior Associate, International Resources and is based out of TR’s Tactical Operations Center (TOC) in Chicago, IL.

Project : Temp for TR International Logistics Support

Duration : September 2024 - December 2024

Expected Hours Per Week : 15

Duties:

• Assist medical team in ensuring gear is packed and ready to deploy.

• Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures.

• Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders.

• Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.

• Coordinating with field teams to address response needs.

Experience and Background:

• Bachelor’s degree or pre-hospital (EMT or Paramedic) background is a plus

• Required : 1-3 years of professional experience within a related field

• Preferred : Prior work experience in the fields of Global Health, Emergency Response, or volunteer management is preferred

• Preferred : Proficiency in Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, or French

Special Requirements :

• This is part-time; in-office and based out of Chicago, IL, offering a hybrid work schedule where employees can opt to work from home one day a week determined by team collaboration and business needs (relocation expenses not provided)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Job Type:

• Contingent, hourly, non-exempt

Pay Range:  

• $30.00 per hour
