KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Advisory Data Organization Reporting & Impact Measurement Lead to join our Advisory Data organization.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with reporting pillar leads to author and maintain a reporting strategy, establishing a unified documented approach to telling the Advisory Data Organization value story through our operational and performance data/metrics; partner with Advisory Data Organization and other stakeholders to define and capture key reporting requirements aligned to pillar/team level performance objectives
Tactically drive and manage reporting delivery lifecycle, translating requirements into a prioritized registry of design specs, driving report development, stakeholder management and delivery against key deadlines
Oversee the end-to-end reporting development infrastructure including: design, develop and maintain scalable and multi-dimensional data models to support the BI needs, design relevant workflows and write SQL/DAX queries, stored procedures, functions for implementation, analyze current ETL process, define and design new transformations using tool such as SSIS/ SSRS/SSAS, consult with offshore development team regularly to perform end-to-end review of code, back-end processes, front-end designs, and own and manage the backlog of user requirements and consult with business/technical stakeholders, leadership as well as SMEs on all aspects of solution design and build
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the reporting workstream for all ADO pillar reports, supervising an offshore resource (KGS) team to execute data modeling, reporting creation, trend, and anomaly detection based on data extracted and modeled from a variety of data sources
Leverage Advisory Data Organization data management, workflow, and reporting capabilities including JIRA, DevOps., PowerBI, and manage quality of report development and delivery, proactively monitoring and QA'ing new and modified data sources and dashboard reports for completeness, accuracy, validity, and against specified end user functionality; research and incorporate available firm advanced techniques, like GenAI capabilities, Co-pilot(s), and RAG models to achieve both operational and performance improvements
Establish a communications and training model to drive awareness and education amongst stakeholders and end users of reporting dashboards and KPI's
Qualifications:
Minimum seven years of recent demonstrated experience using and managing projects in JIRA, delivering against an agile metrics/reporting lifecycle, from requirements definition, through design, development, and delivery/consumption of reports
Minimum five years on the job experience as a SQL developer implementing projects for enterprise application; proficiency with data preparation, manipulation, and transformation programing languages like SQL, Python, and R -s
Minimum three years prior working experience building applications and dashboards using MS BI stack and other BI tools such as Tableau; proficiency with PowerBI, demonstrating an ability to model, prepare, craft, and maintain key dashboards and deploy/maintain them within a structured PowerBI service environment
Minimum five years of recent dedicated experience in technical project management leadership role with at least one full project cycle completed, from concept to completion, and demonstrated ability to work across teams and stakeholders across multi time zones, including an offshore development team such as KGS, and KTSA
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, IT, MIS or another technical/quantitative field required. Master's or PMP and/or SAFE agile certification is a plus
Excellent communications and presentation skills, including experience with storytelling and value messaging techniques, targeted to key C-suite and executive stakeholders
