Kellanova Manager, Commercial Strategy, Omnichannel in Chicago, Illinois
Advance your career as a Manager, Commercial Strategy, Omnichannel leading across platform plans. This role is on the Frozen Business Unit supporting Eggo and MorningStar Farms and is based in Chicago, IL or Battle Creek, MI, with additional locations considered. In this exciting role, you will play a critical part in developing key plans to execute across both digital and physical channels.
Our team works with cross-functional partners, including omni sales, marketing, finance, category strategy, revenue growth management, R&D and supply chain. You’ll work to create a commercial strategy that drives total sales growth both online and in-store, engaging consumers in the fast-growing eCommerce space and fully connecting the shopper experience across the entire Omnichannel path to purchase.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
Customer Focus Across Channels - Represent our customers and field sales, serving as their voice in the development of omnichannel strategies, plans, and execution. You will take the lead to work with our key ecommerce customers to develop the appropriate assortment and marketing plans.
Cross-functional Collaboration – Partner with our omni sales leads and center of excellence, serving as the primary point of contact to deliver plans for promotions, digital coupons, and in-store custom executions. You will also work closely with marketing, finance, supply chain, and research & development.
Project Management – Execute, monitor, and drive visibility to Product Work Requests (PWR) frequently, ensuring the successful execution of projects. Ability to deliver projects and inputs accurately and on time will be critical to the success of this role.
Business Insights - Proactively track, analyze, and make strategic and tactical recommendations for category innovation execution. Provide perspective and solutions to the teams based on learnings from both Kellanova and competitive innovation.
We’re Looking for Someone With
Strong background in commercial strategy, sales strategy, field sales and shopper marketing, along with cross-functional project work.
Experience working with retail media networks and general understanding of digital media capabilities such as search, digital display, digital shelf etc .
Ability to manage multiple projects with various deadlines, specific time constraints, and conflicting priorities. Must be able to prioritize projects within heavy workload periods.
Frequent travel is a requirement of this position.
Strong organizational, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills. Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret Neilson data and market research.
Ability to work with many people at various levels of the organization.
Compensation
The annual salary range is $113,680 - $149,205, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
