The Millennium Group Office Service Associate in Chicago, Illinois
19.00 per hour 19.00 | Chicago, IL, USA | Hourly | Full Time
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for sets/resets conference rooms/beverage requests per the schedule provided by the Conference Center Coordinator
Conducts floor checks and maintains Conference Center to cleanliness and organization standards; performs weekly supply audits
Stocks and restocks assigned canteens and copy stations daily; reports issues to appropriate individuals
Responds to customer concerns, escalating where necessary
Performs regular inspections of workspace(s) to identify area/items/equipment/materials in need of repair, replacement, and/or upgrades
Keeps accurate records/logs of inspections/room checks
Communicates effectively and professionally through speech, email, chats, and phone calls
Provides outstanding customer service at all times, without exception
Assists/backs up other team members when needed
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
HS Diploma or equivalency required
Working knowledge of mail/distribution basics or office experience equivalent
Working knowledge of Microsoft Products including: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills; adaptable to a dynamic environment while possessing strong interpersonal skills
Must be able to learn new skills quickly
Flexible and able to juggle multiple, and at times, conflicting priorities
Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
Able to remain diplomatic in stressful situations; team oriented and has the capacity to build strong working relationships both within the team and with external stakeholders/customers
Exhibits superior verbal and written customer service skills
Maintains confidentiality while working with highly sensitive materials
Able to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time
Able to lift or move 50lbs or greater at times
