Google Partner Sales Manager II, Apigee Google Cloud in Chicago, Illinois

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in sales or partner management.

  • Experience working with and managing partners in implementation projects, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.

  • Experience working with sales engineers and customers' leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of proven experience in Partner Management, preferably with API or cloud-based solutions.

  • Understanding of API technology and its role in digital transformation.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

As an Apigee Partner Sales Manager, you will hold a holistic view of channel business and will collaborate with different teams within the Google organization. You will also establish and maintain business execution with Google's partners.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Lead Apigee partners relationships and deliver measurable outcomes. Work with industry leaders in Google Cloud to formulate priorities that will determine recruiting and partner development focus.

  • Help partners leverage Apigee's technology/products to enhance their offerings and integrate with them.

  • Be an advocate for Apigee Partnerships within Google Cloud, particularly in influencing product, engineering, marketing, and sales strategy.

  • Engage with specialist sales teams to showcase the power of Apigee to prospective and existing customers.

  • Perform industry research and analysis, remaining up-to-date on dataset trends and partner product/segment enhancements. Recruit, develop, and manage strategic data partnerships across industry verticals, including partner selection, development, negotiation, and launch.
