Job Description:

This job is responsible for developing and implementing business strategies by managing platform development initiatives from idea creation through deployment. Key responsibilities include identifying customer needs, working with Technology on design options, and validating concepts. Job expectations include developing business cases, partnering with Technology and key operational stakeholders to conduct analyses, and writing business and functional requirements documentation.

The Platform Manager will play a critical role in developing, implementing & delivering enhancements to core underwriting applications including CreditCenter, Workplace, CreditToolkit, and other supported platforms. Focusing on one application, the Platform Manager will work closely with Program Owners, Business Channel leaders, SMEs, Technology, Operations, Client Services, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and external suppliers/vendors. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining subject matter expertise for platform functionality geared around enhancing user experience, user adoption, or platform issues identified by client service/support organizations.

Responsibilities:

• Defines the strategic vision for key user experience functionalities, identifying administrative modifications and opportunities to streamline data entry processes

• Drives innovation and improves platforms used by bank employees and support organizations to maximize system stability, while minimizing user disruption

• Interacts with key program stakeholders such as platform and process design teams to facilitate solutions and remedies to any risks/issues identified during platform deployment

• Leads the end-to-end requirement gathering and release execution process from an operational validation perspective with Technology partners

• Manages User Acceptance Testing execution and documents evidence of success prior to release

• Partners with Technology to plan, implement, and deploy business strategies, while prioritizing the bank's long and short-term goals

• Become a subject matter expert in aligned platform across multiple applicable businesses (Centers, Regions, CRE, Small Business, etc.) and functions (CO/UW/LO, Analyst, CCS/WCA/CSA, Operations).

• Leverage knowledge of underwriting, monitoring, and/or fulfillment processes to design technical solutions to solve business problems.

• Candidate will either have or gain proficiency within the CreditCenter, Workplace, CreditToolkit, GUS/GMS or similarly supported application.

• Leverage executive presence skills to influence senior business stakeholders and program leadership on roadmap prioritization decisions.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Credit (Credit Officer, Underwriter, Analyst, Operations, Business Support, Strategy, technology, etc.)

• Problem solver; ability to think critically and offer creative solutions

• Highly organized

• Ability to create and maintain partnerships with senior stakeholders

• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn technical specs

• Self-starter who is comfortable operating independently in an ambiguous environment

• Strong written and oral communications skills. Ability to communicate vertically and horizontally and to distill complex subject matter into concise summaries and recommendations

• Executive presence required

Desired Qualifications:

• 10+ years’ experience in Credit (Credit Officer, UW, Analyst, Admin, Ops, Business Support, Strategy, etc.)

• Experience with managing "need to know" principles and/or the security model of an application

• Proficiency with one or more existing Enterprise Credit applications (e.g. CreditCenter, Workplace, GUS) preferred

• Experience with project based work and/or delivering projects using the Agile methodology

• Intellectually curious and strong desire to continually learn

• Driven to understand the "why" behind a current practice or business problem

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$125,000.00 - $175,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
