Job Summary : Product Manager - Partner Products  

This Product Manager role is a great opportunity for a talented product person who is seeking to rapidly grow their product management experience and have a meaningful impact on a growth-stage company. In this role, you’ll be responsible for executing the product strategy for a new area of RedShelf’s product portfolio, including the ultimate launch of new product capabilities to the market. 

As a product manager you will be responsible for leading cross-functional collaboration and execution with your peers in Design and Engineering. This position requires close collaboration and coordination with customers to rapidly understand and interpret their requirements and execute and launch an MVP to the market. 

This is a hybrid position- 60% onsite at our new, beautiful RedShelf office in the loop  - Tuesdays -Thursdays and occasional ability (10%)  to travel to customer locations. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Own various aspects of the product development lifecycle, including gathering and distilling product feature needs/requirements into Epics, Features & Stories 

  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend solutions for new RedShelf partner products

  • Independently lead technical & requirements analysis discussions and presentations with partners to demonstrate the value and feasibility of product concepts

  • Work to identify areas to partner with peers to create unified user experiences that solve important customer problems with accelerated execution.

  • Capture new feature requests from customers and work with product and engineering teams to prioritize and execute the most critical features of the MVP solution.

  • Help support go-to-market launch and project plans

    Requirements:

  • 3+ years of B2B product management experience working on an enterprise platform

  • An analytical and customer-oriented product manager that can synthesize customer input, market input and technical understanding to create unfair advantage for our products

  • Experience driving complex projects or programs with competing stakeholders.

  • Natural leadership. You know how to influence people to get things done.

  • Clear and effective communication habits that span data-driven insights, written communication (including product requirements and customer note-taking) and verbal and written customer communications to enable fast decision making.

  • Experience synthesizing and presenting complex information to senior leadership

  • Knowledge or passion for advances in higher educational software, course materials, and digital publishing is a plus

  • You thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous and growing environment
