Job Title: Project Architect
Job Description
Lead team and consultants to execute the project design and produce construction documents
Assist PM/PIC with the development and management of the productions schedule and deadlines
Review and verify that documents meet the QA/QC and the firm standards
Will prepare client presentations, and present design concepts and drawings.
Coordinates with project managers, clients, public agencies, consultants and contractors to incorporate engineering systems, to respond to requests for information, clarifications and modifications and to obtain approvals and adjust scope of services.
Assist Project Designers in product research, product and materials evaluations, and oversee appropriate application of products and materials.
Lead team meetings regarding the project, technical issues or coordination issues.
Will attend site visits, field review, perform code analysis and confirm code/zoning requirements.
Will prepare and review meeting minutes for consultant coordination meetings.
Must be invested in helping the professional/career development for team members
Will be applying fundamental accounting principles to assist in delivering the project within the defined budget requirements
Able to understand contract and able to evaluate where additional support/services are needed
Promotes the firm’s principles of ‘design excellence’ through the integration of responsible and sustainable design practice with the art of design
Supports PIC/PM and may lead the business development process by identifying new opportunities, marketing current clients for repeat business and assisting with proposals, budgets and schedules
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited university, Master's is a plus
Degree must be accredited in the US
7-10 years of post-graduate experience working on healthcare projects
Post-graduate experience does NOT include internship experience
Licensure is highly preferred
Previous project management experience is a plus
Must be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
Must have knowledge of sustainability and integrated design guidelines
Experience working with building code research and implementation into documents
Experience leading a team, maintaining client relationships and building new client relationships
Must be local- this is an in office/hybrid role
Must have valid work authorization
Starting salary for this role would be the hourly equivalent of $75,000-$90,000 dpeending on experience.
