We have a fantastic full-time career opportunity in Chicago for a qualified Quality Control Inspector. You will perform dimensional inspection of critical, large machine parts for our nuclear business.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-Candidate must have 3+ years previous inspection experience and familiarity with using large measuring tools.

-Must have excellent written, verbal and reading skills and have excellent computer skills.

-Previous machine shop experience a plus in a custom job shop.

-Dimensionally inspect large parts using large micrometers, gauges, calipers

-Calibration of measuring and test utilized for performing inspection and test activities.

-Develop detailed reports for incoming, in process and final inspection.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3 years previous inspection experience and familiar with measuring tools.
• Experience using micrometers, gauges, calipers.
• Level 1 certification or higher
• Ability to prioritize and take direction from all levels of management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills, familiar with MS Office suite.
• Previous machine shop experience a plus
• High School Diploma and a valid drivers license.
