Job Title: Quality Control Laboratory Technician

Job Description

The quality control lab technician will perform quality control testing on products in the chemical manufacturing industry.

Testing involved will include:

• Density

• Particle Size Distribution (PSD)

• Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET)

• Carbon Content Analyzer (via Leco instrument)

• Moisture content

• Viscosity

• pH and gas generation (densimeter)

• Rheology

• TGA (Thermal Gravimetric Analysis)

• Stability Analyzer

• ICP

• X-Ray Diffraction

• Karl Fischer (for moisture)

• Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM)

Hard Skills

• BS in sciences preferred

• 2-5 years of experience in a chemical lab environment

• Understanding of measurement analysis, chemicals

• Experience with Particle Size Analyzer a plus

• Experience with BET (Brunauer-Emmett-Teller) a plus

This is a fully on-site position in Chicago, Illinois.

Work Environment

1st shift - 9am-5pm.
