Description:

• Performing wet chemistry lab analysis on raw materials, in process, and finished product including but not limited to: pH, viscosity, specific gravity, physical properties (color, odor, appearance), as well as performing IR Spectroscopy and FTIR

• Perform microbiological testing/swabbing

• Keep an orderly and organized QA laboratory

• Make sure all laboratory testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated as needed

• Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of laboratory supplies and communicate lab supply needs to the QA manager before running out

• Create Excel data analysis spreadsheet reports based on laboratory testing as needed

• Maintain accurate laboratory test result records

• Participate in quality and process improvement initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Applied Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry)

• Wet Chemistry Experience

• Microbiology experience is a plus

• Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Excel
